"The AI
Divide: Adapt and Conduct in 2026–2027, or Become Obsolete"
Feb 2026
The next 2 years (2026 and 2027) will create 2 groups of
people, those who will adapt and embrace AI and those who become obsolete. Even
though there are people who fear that AI will replace them, most businesses
haven't even figured out how to use it properly yet. This is your window of
vast opportunity. Another point to ponder is that synthetic data becomes
the new gold with high quality AI curated databases for music, video, images
and text which will be incredibly valuable. This is certainly something very
controversial as once version2, version3 or version4 of AI models train on
synthetic data generated by version1, even the copyright deadline may pass. The
courts won't be able to identify what was stolen or violated anymore. One
important solution to this is human in the loop.
We will see brand new positions emerge. AI governance
specialists, prompt engineers who understand business context, integration
architects who connect AI to existing workflows, quality assurance roles
ensuring AI outputs meet human standards, strategic directors who guide AI
toward business objectives. These roles didn't exist two years ago, and now
they're essential. Again, this why I say, AI won't replace humans, but it
requires humans who understand how to direct it, oversee it, and integrate it
into valuable outcomes. It's about becoming the conductor of an orchestra where
some players are human, and some are AI. This also means that technology isn't
the threat, not changing your thinking and taking the right actions today to embrace
the coming future will be the threat. Our future is not AI only, it's human and
AI in synergy.
